Investors, an APUR study that will interest you

In 2014, the Paris urban planning workshop Atelier Parisien d’Urbanisme (APUR) began a census of all Paris offices larger than 1,000 m2. At the end of this survey a study was published in April 2015 mapping the Paris offices by their age of construction and mode of ownership. The main purpose of this census was to identify buildings that could be a resource for projects to turn offices into housing. Given the strong political desire to support these types of projects, it would seem necessary, right from the acquisition or bargaining stage, to assess the technical and economic potential of the projects. Thanks to its analysis of this data, its technical and architectural expertise, and its understanding of asset management, BUILDERS & PARTNERS is able to offer as part of its support missions a quantified scenario for conversion to housing, from among all the possible valorization options. The specialist press is talking about BUILDERS & PARTNERS

In the “Architecture / Engineering” column for January-February 2015, the ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN journal archiSTORM describes the sector’s challenges and expectations surrounding BIM (BIM: The new Esperanto of the construction world?). It goes on to talk about BIM Management which, according to Louis-Christophe Moissonnier, “is the natural extension of its basic activity”. As part of its coordination function, a BIM Manager oversees the development of the reference model representing the building from planning stage right through to operation, alongside the architects and design engineers. The Operation includes an urban composition with the future Ministry of Defence designed by the firm Nicolas Michelin and resonates with it. The volumes created, especially in the halls, allow sharp identification of the building entrances from the various means of access to the site (metro, tram, RER rail, bikes and vehicles), combined with a transparency that projects the user directly onto the landscaped park from those halls. The project is innovative in the proposed amenities such as parking for electric vehicles, smartphone-adjustable comfort settings, environmental certifications, etc. The quality of its architecture, the location, and the products and materials used in the construction of these buildings in the Qu4drans Project mark it as unique in tertiary architecture.
